How to play Microsoft Jewel 2?

The goal of each level

In the Microsoft Jewel 2 level, you need to collect enough gems that each level requires, such as 10 red rubies, 12 blue sapphires, or many different colors. You will follow the rules on the left-hand side of the cost display board to determine the correct target. Note that the number of steps you move will be limited.

How to create a match?

When playing, you will match 3 identical gems horizontally or vertically to make them disappear and create space for new gems to fall.

When you match 4 gems, it will create a special gem that can clear the whole row, and 5 gems in the shape of an L, T or straight line will create power-ups, just like when you play Merge Summer, it can clear an entire area and collect many diamonds.

How to score?

• When you create a number of consecutive Matches, you will get extra bonus points and increase the multiplier coefficient.
• Creating many big combos or activating power-ups will bring huge scores, making your scoreboard skyrocket in just a few seconds.

How to control the gems

• When playing on the computer: swap the positions of two gems by clicking on them.
• On the phone: swipe to swap positions and create matches for the gems.

Jewels & Power-Ups System

Common Gem Types

In Microsoft Jewel 2 levels, gems will have many different colors such as red, blue, green, yellow, purple are the colors that you will often see in the game. You need to collect gems based on the color to complete the goal in each level.

Special Gems

• Horizontal/Vertical Jewel: appears when you match four identical gems. When activated, it will shoot out a beam of light and destroy the entire horizontal or vertical row where it is placed.
• Lightning Jewel: created from more complex combos, the lightning will destroy a large cluster of gems in a cross or zigzag pattern. When activated, it will cause multiple gems to be eliminated at the same time, often creating an automatic cascade, helping to increase the score quickly.
• Rainbow Gem: This gem is incredibly powerful, it can combine with any color on the board and will clear all of that color instantly. When combined with another power-up, the effect will be even stronger, capable of wiping out almost the entire board.
