Clash Of Vikings
What Kind of Game
Clash of Vikings is a real time browser strategy where two Viking kingdoms clash using troop, hero, and spell cards on a compact arena.
Build a deck, read the enemy, and time your drops to break their towers before the clock runs out.
Each match takes three minutes on a small battlefield split by a river and bridge, with two side towers and a main keep on each side. Your goal is to destroy more enemy towers-or the main keep-before time expires.
How to Play
- Choose eight cards for your deck, then press Battle to face the AI or another player.
- Spend regenerating mana to deploy units or cast spells anywhere on your side of the river.
- Units march toward enemy towers; spells provide burst damage, control, or protection.
- Win by taking down the enemy keep, or by holding the tower advantage when the timer reaches zero.
Cards and Deckbuilding
Cards fall into three broad types and you can arrange the deck before each battle:
- Troops: swordsmen, archers, giants, raiders-solid pushes or cheap swarms.
- Heroes: elite units with special skills and higher health for anchor pushes.
- Spells: arrow rain, fireball, freeze-clear swarms, finish towers, or stall pushes.
Success depends on matchup knowledge and resource management: bring answers to swarms, tanks, and air or ranged threats; keep your average mana cost balanced so you can cycle when needed.
Features
- Three minute duels with quick matchmaking and smart enemy AI.
- Multiple cards to unlock and combine: troops, heroes, and spells.
- Pre battle deck arrangement to counter likely enemy strategies.
- Lightweight visuals and readable effects for clear combat feedback.
Strategy Tips
- Hold a small mana reserve so you can answer sudden pushes.
- Pair tanks with ranged support; drop spells only when you hit multiple targets.
- Trade efficiently-defend cheaply, then convert survivors into a counterpush.
- Split pressure across lanes to draw out the opponent's answers.
Comparison with Grow a Garden and Cut the Rope
Clash of Vikings delivers quick competitive decisions under a strict timer, while Grow a Garden favors slow, relaxing progression through planting and resource care. Compared with Cut the Rope, which focuses on physics puzzles and measured planning, Clash of Vikings emphasizes live tactics: deck composition, mana timing, and lane control. All three are easy to start in a browser, but they satisfy different player needs-calm growth, thoughtful problem solving, or high tempo strategy.
Conclusion
Short, readable battles, flexible decks, and clear objectives make Clash of Vikings a strong pick for quick strategy sessions. Choose the right cards, outmaneuver the opponent, and topple the enemy keep before the horns fall silent.
