Effective Hitting Techniques
You need to focus on timing your swing. When the ball is near your character, press the button at the right moment to create an accurate shot. Pressing too early or too late will result in a weak shot or a missed shot, making you more likely to be out.
Timing directly affects the power of your shot. When timing correctly, the shot will be stronger, the ball will fly higher and farther, giving you more scoring opportunities. Conversely, poor timing will create short shots that are easily caught by your opponent.
To create long shots, observe your opponent's throwing speed and stay calm before swinging. Regular practice in Practice Mode will help you get used to it and improve your reflexes, allowing you to execute powerful home runs.
Base Running and Scoring Techniques
After hitting the ball, moving quickly between bases is crucial for scoring. Control your character to run to the nearest base as soon as the ball is hit, while observing the ball's position and your opponent's movements to make informed decisions.
To avoid being eliminated, pay attention to the ball's trajectory and your opponent's speed in catching it. If you see your opponent in a favorable position to catch the ball or quickly return to base, consider stopping instead of risking continuing to run. Returning safely to base will help you save your turn.
Defensive and Catching Techniques
When defending, you need to move quickly to catch the ball immediately after your opponent hits it. Use the movement keys to move your character to the area where the ball is coming from, prioritizing positioning between the ball and the bases to limit your opponent's scoring opportunities.
Predicting the ball's landing point is crucial. Observe the ball's trajectory to estimate the landing point, then position yourself appropriately to catch it. Successfully catching the ball will prevent your opponent from reaching their base and give your team an advantage.
